At Bayana, we use stainless steel as the base metal, finished with 18k PVD gold plating for long-lasting quality. PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a durable, high-quality coating process in which a thin layer of 18k gold is applied in a vacuum chamber, creating a strong molecular bond with the base material. Unlike traditional plating, PVD results in a thicker, more robust, and wear-resistant finish that resists tarnish, corrosion, and fading—ideal for jewellery that keeps its lustrous appearance.

Our collections also feature real freshwater pearls, semi-precious gemstones, and natural shells. Each material is carefully sourced and thoroughly tested by trusted suppliers.
